With prices becoming more affordable, more and more NC Miata ends up on race tracks worldwide. When the car is experiencing high side-to-side weight transitions and lateral G-forces, the oil in the engine sump (oil pan) will be sloshing around quite a bit. That would cause the oil to move away from the oil pickup area and the rotating assembly could lose oil pressure and lubrication (aka. oil starvation).

This oil pan baffle is designed to solve this issue while being very affordable. It is designed with baffling and one-way trap doors to ensure there is adequate engine lubrication at all times.

This oil pan baffle should be installed for serious track enthusiasts or anybody else for peace of mind.

Since 2.5L swap is getting popular among NC enthusiasts, this oil pan baffle will be an ideal add-on during the engine swapping process.
